Billecart Salmon rosé provides a standard benchmark for rosé that many Champagne houses look up to. Made using a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir in almost equal parts, this is a delicate pink with stunning red berry character and refreshing citrus zestiness. It is a versatile food match working well at any point in your meal as an aperitif, with the likes of sushi and also holding up well to red fruit or citrus flavoured deserts.
The house was established in 1818 when Nicolas Francois Billecart and Elizabeth Salmon married and two centuries later it is under the helm of its 7th generation in Francois Roland-Billecart. It is one of the few houses in the Champagne region to remain family owned. 12% ABV.
