Both are sizeable companies with an HQ in the northern part of the Rhone valley, making a range of wines including excellent Cotes du Rhone. At the top quality level, Jaboulet specialises in Hermitage and Crozes-Hermitage, while Guigal focusses on this fantastic Cote Rotie (a red wine vineyard) and Condrieu (white wine) near the town Ampuis, a short journey from Lyon. 13.5% ABV.

Tasting notes

A rich, perfumed, full-bodied white with plenty of character. Condrieu is made from the Viognier grape which gives this distinctive apricot perfume and full body.

Drink now or until Winter 2020

Ideas for drinking/ food matching

It's great without food given its lovely fruity nature, but also matches chicken and turkey dishes well.
