This rich 2018 Merlot from Paso Robles is filled with aromas of black plum, and violet. Notes of the 12 months in barrel show through with baking spices, and toasted pastry. In addition to being 83% Merlot there is also a small percentage of 16% Malbec and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon which adds bright fruity tones and notes of pomegranate, with a lively and bright, lengthy finish. Delicious paired with grilled sausage and roasted summer vegetables. This wine shows potential to improve over the next 5 years of aging. 13.9% ABV
