Comprising of grapes picked from a number of Faiveley’s own vineyards throughout Burgundy and also from their partner estates, this is made entirely from Pinot Noir. With a beautiful ruby colour and pleasant, fresh red fruit flavours including raspberry, mulberry and cherries, this is a rich and well-crafted example of why Pinot Noir calls this part of France home!
Domaine Faiveley was founded in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley and having remained in the family for seven generations is now managed by Erwan and Eve Faiveley. The estate comprises vineyards in many of the most prestigious appellations throughout Burgundy and with an uncompromising focus on quality they are ensuring the families heritage and traditions continues to be instilled within their wines. The Bourgogne Pinot Noir spends 12-14 months in oak which helps develop fine, rounded tannins which are both well-structured and pleasing. This is a superb match for nibbles, especially charcuterie and lighter cheeses. 13% ABV.
