Description
Lacoste-Borie is the second wine of Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste, in Pauillac, which has been owned by the Borie family since 1978, and is now run by Francois Xavier Borie and daughter Emeline. The grape blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon with 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. This 2015 is a touch lighter in body than their Grand-Puy-Lacoste 2015, but with typical Cabernet Sauvignon blackcurrant fruit and structure. It’s extremely easy to drink with plenty of classic Bordeaux finesse, but an approachable wine that makes a great midweek treat and versatile food match. 13.5%ABV
