This Northern Italian white blend of grapes has a pale golden-yellow appearance with a nose that is pronounced with intense floral aromas such as white blossom, bright fruits and a slightly creamy undertone. The palate is dry, elegant and light to medium in body, with harmonious flavours that follow the nose. Extremely refreshing from its naturally crisp acidity, and with a soft, peaches-and-cream finish that keeps you going back for more! An extremely well-balanced wine and lots of juicy flavours. 12.5%ABV
Monte Del Fra (meaning ‘land of the monks’) was originally a monastery for the Friars of Santa Maria Della Scala in the Morainic hills surrounding Lake Garda, in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Today, the estate is planted with vineyards and run by the third generation of the Bonomo family, who acquired the land in 1958. Originally, they farmed other crops such as peaches and wheat, however, in the 1980s, grapevines became the focus. It’s been a huge success and Marica, Silvia and Massimo Bonomo now farm c. 300 acres of vineyards, buying further grapes from other local growers.
