Salcheto Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2016 HALF (37.5cl)

Red, Tuscany, Italy

In stock

Salcheto is a leading organic producer in Montepulciano, Tuscany. The name Salcheto comes from a stream, called Salcheto, that flows through the estate. This is a lovely wine with red and black berry fruits, some herbier notes and fairly full body, tannin and structure, yet is not heavy or too rich. It drinks well now but can age for many years more, when the wine softens, the colour lightens a touch and the tannins mellow. It’s a great example of what Tuscany can do! See for more.
