Schug Carneros Chardonnay 2018 HALF (37.5cl)

White, Sonoma, USA

In stock

A fine, mid-weight Chardonnay from Claudia Schug and family in Carneros, California. It has lovely lemon citrus fruit expected of California, but is not quite as rich, being from the cooler coastal area rather than inland (where richer Chardonnays are often made). The Schug family are originally winemakers from Germany; their Californian estate was founded in 1980 after Claudia’s father Walter Schug worked as winemaker at another renowned California estate, Joseph Phelps.
