TASTING NOTE: Deep red in colour. On the nose: Red fruits including cranberry, pomegranate, and wild raspberries.with plenty of red berry flavour, silky-textured tannins, and a long, juicy, elegant finish. On the palate: It’s full-bodied with vibrant flavours including cranberry, pomegranate and wild raspberries that sit alongside silky tannins and a complex, yet elegant finish. 15% alcohol by volume.

FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: The Steading has superb savoury notes alongside a rich fruit-led palate which pairs superbly with herb sausages and a variety of meaty steaks, or grilled portabella mushrooms. A great BBQ wine too! Enjoy with a decanting now, or keep until 2026.

ABOUT: Torbreck was founded by David Powell, a former lumberjack, in the Barossa Valley area of Southern Australia in 1994. The focus here is on producing wines of exceptional quality using the classic Rhone varieties which were planted here over a hundred years ago, it is these old vines which contribute to the depth and complexity of Torbreck wines. Torbreck is now owned by Pete Kight, an American who also owns wineries in California’s Dry Creek Valley.
