A rare, highly-prized and truly delicious Vin Santo, the local sweet wine that is made in tiny quantities from dried grapes, produced by the Capezzana estate in the Carmignano area of Tuscany, Italy.
ABOUT: The Capezzana estate in the Carmignano area of Tuscany has been run by the same family since all the way back to 804, and today Benedetta and Vittorio Contini Bonacossi make and sell the wines, with their winemaker Franco Bernabei. They also make a fine extra virgin olive oil, run a cooking school and make another 7 wines. It’s a great place to take a tour if ever on holiday in this area!
