Glera is planted on alluvial and largely gravelly soils and are manually harvested.
TASTING NOTE: Gold colour with persistent bubbles. On the nose bright orchards fruit such as apple and clean citrus jump out. Great natural acidity and freshness with 11% alcohol.
PAIRING AND SERVING IDEAS: A very versatile sparkling wine that goes well with appertisers, rich and tasty salads!
ABOUT: The Giol family become owners of the estate back in 1919. They run 25 hecatres of vineyards across the La Bicana, Il Bassonet, Le Gerette and Spiridiona estates in the Piave region of north-east Italy. Being certified organic allows these producers to produce wines at the highest quality with great respect for the enviornment.
