A smooth, juicy wine from Cannonau (Grenache) that is laden with red fruit character and spice. A versatile wine for foodmatching, and a real crowdpleaser, it is soft in texture, plum and moreish.
Antichi Poderi Jerzu is a cooperative winery based in the remote village of Jerzu, within the historical Ogliastra region on Sardinia’s east coast. Cannonau is the Grenache grape originally, although the dry, Mediterranean climate gives these red wines a distinct personality, full of ripe red berries of strawberry and raspberry, cherry and plum. No oak used, the wine was fermented in stainless steel and cement tanks, giving a fresh, pure, juicy style that drinks well now and till the end of 2028. 14% alcohol.
