A fine bubbly with elegance and freshness that is so versatile with a wide range of cuisine and occasions. Composed of almost equal portions of Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it is a blend from three different years and from some of the finest plots in the Champagne region.
The house was established in 1818 when Nicolas Francois Billecart and Elizabeth Salmon married and two centuries later it is under the helm of its 7th generation in Francois Roland-Billecart. It is one of the few houses in the Champagne region to remain family owned. The house rules are that all the Champagne’s undergo long fermentations at cold temperatures with no malolactic fermentation. This has helped create this harmonious bubbly with enticing stone fruit, cherry and melon scents and biscuity charm. The fleshy apple palate is impressively light but complex and oh so drinkable! 12% ABV.
