Description
A mouthwatering blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from the Italian Alps in Northeast Italy, from the Alto Adige region. This is medium-bodied but with masses of flavour and freshness, a great food wine with creamy sauces, pasta, chicken or dumplings as well as asparagus and parmesan. Great with white meat, fish and cheese this wine will also go well with pasta in rich and creamy sauces. Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc provide flavours of stone fruit such as peach and apricot with dried herbs and a mineral character. Sauvignon Blanc adds an exciting ripeness and more exotic fruit to this fairly full-bodied blend.
Cantina Terlano is a long-established cooperative with a strong focus on quality; it’s based in Terlano, hence the name, in Alto Adige (aka Sudtirol or South Tyrol). 143 growers form the cooperative, farming 165 hectares, focusing on white varieties with 75% of the area dedicated to white grapes and 25% to red grapes. 13.5% ABV.
