Description
This Bordeaux Rose is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc which produces a medium, pink-coloured rose in the glass.
TASTING NOTE: It is a fruit-forward, juicy Rose to suit all occasions, with a modest price tag. By Pauline Lapierre of Chateau Haut-Rian, in the Entre-deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, it is packed with fresh red fruits like cherry, cranberry and strawberries, all leading to a mouthwatering finish that leaves you wanting more.
FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: Excellent as an aperitif or on any patio this summer. It is a versatile food match but does go perfectly with a grilled tuna steak or a fresh Caprese salad with vine-ripe tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Enjoy now or hold until summer 2025.
ABOUT: Settled in the medieval village of Rions, at the heart of Premières Côtes de Bordeaux. Château Haut-Rian is a beautiful, family-owned 85-hectare vineyard. Michel & Isabelle Dietrich decided to settle here 30 years ago after discovering the availability of high-quality and complex soils in the region. Along with their daughter Pauline who runs all day-to-day operations of the winery, the family have been growing and producing wines that are a true reflection of all that the Entre-Deux-Mers region has to offer.
