ABOUT: Domaine Lafouge is a fifth generation estate started by Emile Lafouge at the end of the 19th century. Due to the Napolenic code of property law, both his sons inherited their own vineyard land. Les Ecussaux is a small vineyard east of the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy. At the northern end of the vineyard it is appointed as a Auxey-Duresses Premier Cru whereby this wine is selected from. Both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are grown in the Premier Cru plot.
