Description
A refreshing and light wine from producer Jasci in the Abruzzo region of Southern Italy, produced using the Montepulciano grape, this wine is perfect to enjoy on its own or with your favourite local pizza.
TASTING NOTE: Delicate ruby colour. On the nose: Red fruit jams, like strawberry and cherry with notes of vanilla and cinnamon spice. On the palate: It’s medium to light bodied that’s fruity and juicy with plenty of those ripe fruit characteristics, with soft tannins and a very smooth texture. There is some sour cherry freshness on the finish which stops the wine from being jammy or heavy. 13% alcohol by volume.
FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: This wine is fresh with plenty of juicy fruit characters and will pair well with a dish such as fresh potato gnocchi with grilled vegetables in a buttery lemon sauce or the classic pizza from your favourite local shop. Enjoy this now or keep until Spring 2026.
