Description
This is a delicious and mature example of Californian Chardonnay, with yellow gold colour and stone fruits and honey fruit character. Owned by Barbara Banke and the Jackson family, La Crema wines don’t reach the lofty quality heights of Kistler or Williams Selyem, for example, but they are very good, benchmarks for their area and a great bet from a restaurant list. They are all from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir or Pinot Gris grapes, from vineyards spanning Sonoma, Monterey (both California), or the Willamette part of Oregon too. See lacrema.com for more. 13.5% ABV.
