Description
A ripe and fruit driven wine from South Africa, with excellent balance and freshness too. Made using the classic Bordeaux varieties (59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet franc). Execellent fruit from 2020 vintage, despite the COVID 19 pandemic.
TASTING NOTES: Juicy red and blackcurrant flavours, bramble with a hint of savoury notes. Full-bodied and grippy tannins and a long finish of generous tobacco spice and dried herbs and 14.5% alcohol.
PAIRING AND SERVING IDEAS: Drink now, or wait for another 5 to 7 years. Ideal with beef fillet, oxtail stew and hard cheeses.
