Description
This delicious Provencal Rose is produced by the Perrin family at Chateau Miraval and famously partly owned by Brad Pitt. It’s a typical southern French blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino), and Syrah from vineyards surrounding the estate and the nearby town of Correns. Our go-to summer rose!
TASTING NOTE: A delicate pale pink colour in the glass. On the nose: Delicate, but vibrant with plenty of aromas of fresh fruits such as strawberry, grapefruit, and white peaches, with lingering floral notes too. On the palate: It’s precise and elegant with lots of fruity notes such as cranberry, strawberry, and rhubarb. There is plenty of freshness from the crisp acidity and a slight salinity note that follows until the tangy finish; it’s delicate but flavourful and it’s extremely easy to drink! 12.5% alcohol.
FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: This Provence Rose is an excellent match with Provencal pizza, a Foccacia base topped with anchovy fillets and black olives. Also, try this with a fresh summer strawberry and rhubarb tart for dessert with a dollop of fresh cream. Enjoy now until summer 2026.
