Description
The grapes for this Châteauneuf du Pape are a blend from 80% Grenache Noir, 15% Syrah, 5% of Mourvèdre. The combination of these grapes create a ruby red colour with bluish highlights.
TASTING NOTE:The nose is intense with aromas of ripe and fleshy red fruits (cherry, raspberry) with soft spices. This is a full-bodied wine offering a nice minerality. The palate holds the flavors of the nose with fruits and spices gently hot. The tannins are intense and fine. Long and silky length on the finish. 15% ABV.
FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: This Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc is delicious now or can be cellared for three years. Pair this wine with beef, turkey or chicken meals, for a vegetarian alternative drink with mushroom dishes.
ABOUT: The grapes for this Châteauneuf du Pape are hand picked from 40-60 years old vines and collected in small buckets. All varieties except the Syrah are lightly crushed before entering fermentation. The grapes are fermented for 21 days before being filtered and bottled.
