Castano ‘Hecula’ Organic Monastrell 2023 BOTTLE (75cl)

Based in Yecla vineyard appellation, in Murcia, southeast Spain, Familia Castaño is known for its efforts in promoting one of Spain’s native varieties: Monastrell. You might also know this as the grape Mourvedre (grown in the Bandol region of France, particularly). In southern Spain, it makes medium to full, robust reds that can be a little earthy, and full of black fruits and toasty notes when aged in French or American oak. This wine is great with roast meats, burgers or roast aubergine, it’s a versatile red at a brilliant price. Now till mid 2027. 14% alcohol.
