Treat yourself or a loved one to this delicious selection of fine Champagnes and Sparkling Wines in half bottle, from wonderful producers. Our electronic tasting notes, a guide to each style/region and the story of the producer will accompany this selection. The subscription renews every month at £49.95 and lasts for 3 months (3 payments/deliveries of 2×37.5cl bottles; the total cost is £149.85). Every month you/your gift recipient will receive one Champagne and one fine Sparkling wine in half bottle. Regions represented include Champagne, English wine, fine Italy, Loire and others.
CURRENT SELECTION
Enjoy Veuve Fourny’s stunning, Premier Cru Champagne, from the Cotes de Blancs region of Champagne, and 100% Chardonnay grapes. It’s dry (‘Extra Brut’ in style), toasty and delicious in flavour from several years’ ageing in the cellar. And for a fascinating contrast, Graham Beck’s Cape Classique from South Africa. Also made in the Champagne-style, it has lovely red fruit and biscuity notes, and is dry and fresh. Graham Beck suggest it as an aperitif, but we like it with prawns and seafood, and it also goes very well with vegetable tarts or quiches for a vegetarian option.
