Stock up this September!
We’ve picked out 12 wines that will suit the start to Autumn perfectly, from a lighter reds such as the Jasci Organic Montepulciano (2 halves) to Faiveley’s versatile Bourgogne Rouge (1 half bottle), and then the fuller, richer Quinta do Crasto (x2). They are great to have on hand. For the whites, Pieropan’s classic Soave (x2) is a brilliant drink at any time, and will match your pastas, poultry and seafood with aplomb. Then, there is a fruity Burgundy, this is a Macon, full of stone fruits, juicy and won’t break the bank (x2). Finally, for something different, our new Eden Valley Riesling (x1), it’s dry, crisp and refreshing, and will perk up the palate as the Autumn fare gets a little denser. To round off the selection there is a traditionally-made Cremant, which is perfect for storing in the fridge and opening to celebrate impromptu, and the new vintage of our favourite Tavel Rose for foodie heaven!
