Travel through a fine wine region or style each month with these half bottles, by producers who have forged the vinous way to our hearts. Delicious wines, often made in relatively limited quantities, that really show what the particular region or style is about. The wines can be white, red or a mix depending on the region. Electronic tasting notes, a blog and online tasting/introduction to the case (a mix of live and recorded tastings) are included, all hosted by our Director and Master of Wine, Vicki. 

AUGUST SELECTION: Fine Roses

We have four fine, fresh, dry Roses for you, in very different styles. There’s a classic Provence, the benchmark Rose by Chateau Minuty. For a similarly crisp, thirst-quenching style, there’s Domaine Teiller’s delicious and rare Menetou-Salon Rose, from the Pinot Noir grape (this is great if you like Sancerre Rose, for example). For a full-bodied, food-friendly style, we have a luscious new Tavel, by Domaine Maby in the Rhone Valley. And, lastly, we have the first vintage of Rathfinny’s ‘Mini Rose’ English Sparkling, from the coast, near Alfriston. This is, uniquely for English wine, in a 50cl bottle, rather than our usual 37.5cl bottle, for extra value! It’s made in the traditional, Champagne method and is a great addition to the range. Our subscribers will be the first Little Fine Wine Clients to try this lovely wine, before it joins the range later this year.

Tasting notes, the blog and the online tasting will be provided on purchase of the case.
