Chateau Lagrange is a well-regarded wine estate based in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Haut-Medoc region, to the north of Bordeaux city, on the left bank. The estate was classified as a third growth in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc and Graves.
A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, and 8% Petit Verdot grapes. It’s dark red in the glass with a violet hue. The palate is full bodied and mellow with plenty of ripe tannins and a velvety character from the Merlot, with a long and fruity finish carried by the bold Cabernet Sauvignon.
A powerful and well-structured wine that can be enjoy now through 2030. 13.5% abv.
