Domaine des Deux Roches Macon-Villages 2022 HALF (37.5cl)

Description

Domaine des Deux Roches translates as ‘Estate of the Two Rocks’, a reference to the position of this wine estate between the two distinctive, rocky escarpments of Solutre and Vergisson, in the Maconnais area of southern Burgundy. Owners of the Domaine, Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray make this great Macon Villages from the different vineyards they own in the Maconnais area. 

The 2022 is a lovely, fresh, juicy white with gentle apricot and peach notes, and a citrus finish. It’s medium in body with lots of flavour and moderate alcohol of 13%. It’s elegant and refreshing, in an unoaked style. The domaine suggest matching this wine with young goat’s cheese, fish terrine or a simple panfried fish fillet and butter, which sounds good to us!
