ABOUT: Founded by Leon Millet in the 1950s, it was Leon’s daughter Denise, and her husband Jean Teillier who developed this domaine. It remains a typical small-production estate in the Menetou-Salon appellation of the Loire Valley, not far from the arguably grander appellations of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume. Today, it is run by Denise’s grandson Jean-Jacques and wife Monique, assisted by their daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Olivier, who have returned to the fold after studying and working in New Zealand.
