Description
This rich, mellow Tawny Port has been aged for ten years by Quinta do Infantado at their estate in Pinhao, in the Douro. Quinta do Infantado are a historic producer with a history dating back nearly two hundred years. They produce their Ports from different varieties, exclusively using grapes from the best vineyards classified as ‘Class “A”‘. This is a fortified wine and as such is 20% in alcohol, but this is barely noticeable given its full, smooth-textured palate and abundance of fig, date, raisin spice and brazil nut flavours that make this such an indulgent treat. It’s sweet but not cloying, and is a great drink at the end of a meal, or for food-matching, try with nut-based desserts and creamy cheeses, or fruit and nut platter. 20% ABV.
