Travel through a fine wine region or style each month with these half bottles, by producers who have forged the vinous way to our hearts. Delicious wines, often made in relatively limited quantities, that really show what the particular region or style is about. The wines can be white, red or a mix depending on the region. Electronic tasting notes and guided, online tastings (a mix of live and recorded tastings) are included, all hosted by our Director and Master of Wine, Vicki**.

AUGUST SELECTION: The versatility of Pinot Noir

For a key summer month, we have Arnaud and Stepanie Dezat’s deliciously dry, crisp, Sancerre Rose. Sancerre Rose is made in limited quantities and hard to find, so we are very pleased to welcome this wine to our range. Also from France, Louis Jadot’s red Burgundy Villages, for a benchmark style with which to compare Valli’s truly stunning Pinot Noir from New Zealand. Valli are arguably the country’s best Pinot producer, and we think you’ll love this top red from Otago. Lastly, to show off Pinot Noir’s versatility, the Methode Cap Classique Sparkling by Graham Beck, from South Africa. A classic Champagne blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aged for 18 months on the fermentation lees, for a fresh, fruity and toasty fizz this August.

**Due to the harvest and the holidays, there is no tasting in August, and tastings will recommence in September.
