TASTING NOTE: Delicate golden colour On the nose: Fresh bouquet of honeysuckle, sweet lemon curd, and butter biscuits. On the palate: medium-bodied that follows the nose along with fresh acidity, flavours of wildflower honey, lightly smoked almond and a buttered toast finish.13% alcohol by volume.
FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: We think this is a great introduction to Burgundian Chardonnay and would recommend trying it alongside roast white meat, creamy mushrooms, or white fish dishes. Enjoy now until Autumn 2024.
ABOUT: Joseph Drouhin, a Chablis native, arrived in Beaune, the heart of Burgundy in 1880 and founded the winery and negotiant business which is now in the hands of his four great-grandchildren – Philippe, Veronique, Laurent and Frederic who each play a different role in helping to grow the family wine companies in Burgundy and USA. With almost 200 acres of vines in Burgundy, they organically farm their own vineyards and purchase grapes from leading growers in the Burgundy region.
