Description
100% Pinot Noir, the Nuits St-Georges 2022 is a very fruit-driven vintage that can be enjoyed in its youth and is already drinking beautifully. Intense garnet red hue and aromas of fruit, oak and spice on the nose. The palate reveals a smooth, rich attack, velvety tannins and good balance. A delicate, seductive and very elegant wine.
Domaine Faiveley was founded in 1825 by Pierre Faiveley and having remained in the family for seven generations, is now managed by Erwan and Eve Faiveley. The estate comprises vineyards in many of the most prestigious appellations throughout Burgundy and with an uncompromising focus on quality they are ensuring the families heritage and traditions continues to be instilled within their wines. The Nuits St-Georges spends 14 months in French oak (20-30% new oak) which have been selected for their fine grain and moderate toast. This is a superb match for duck breast and venison.
