Description
This is a great starting point for fine Pinot Noir in California. It has plenty of red berry aroma and flavour, and a supple, smooth-textured palate with good acidity to balance the full palate. The flavours last long on the finish and there is a hint of spice from ageing in oak barrels, to give interest. La Crema is a highly successful California Pinot Noir, and it’s easy to see why: smooth, fruity in character with classic red colour and red fruits, and excellent balance. Owned by Barbara Banke and the Jackson family, this Pinot is part of a wider range of La Crema wines. The fruity nature of the wine would go well with duck or pulled pork, or a vegetable tagine.
