Description
This English Brut sparkling is lively with green apple, lemon grass and a fresh floral aroma. The palate is crisp and bright with a great depth of flavour with more notes of green apple and citrus fruits like lemons and limes with a white grapefruit pith note and great balance that gives way to citrus and toast flavours all followed by a creamy refreshing mousse. 11%ABV. Best enjoyed with warm fish pie, sauteed mushrooms or creamy pastas.
Lyme Bay Winery is located in the Axe Valley of Devon, in the South West of the UK. Founded just 25 years ago by James Lambert, managing director and head winemaker along with Nigel Howard who both saw the potential in the Axe Valley to produce top-quality wines. What started as a small cider company in 1993 has now grown into a full vineyard and winery with the first vintage in 2014. The production then was mainly still wines with some sparkling wine operation but has now grown to include Mead, fruit wines and spirits!
