Description
Salcheto is a leading organic producer in Montepulciano, Tuscany. The name Salcheto comes from a stream, called Salcheto, that flows through the estate. Made entirely from Sangiovese, this is a lovely wine with red and black berry fruits, some herbal notes and a full body, tannin and structure from a very warm vintage. It drinks well now but can age for many years more, when the wine softens, the colour lightens a touch and the tannins mellow. It’s a great example of what Tuscany can do! 13.5% ABV.
