Join us on Wednesday 30th September 2026 at 6.30 pm for a two-hour masterclass on the wonderful wines of Bordeaux, with our Master of Wine and Director, Vicki. The venue is The Little Fine Wine Company’s office in Earlsfield, SW18, London.

A tasting of 1 white, 7 red and a sweet Bordeaux will be on show, with 18 places available only. We’ll be enjoying the wines, looking at the region as a whole, then learning about the grape varieties, terroirs and style of wines in this famous region. We’ll also examine recent developments in Bordeaux as they adapt to a changing climate, new styles and markets and exciting opportunities. You’ll have a thorough grasp of the different facets of the area, in an enjoyable, relaxed format. And enjoy 9 delicious wines, with some nibbles from Hamish Johnson, cheese merchants extraordinaire, from nearby….. Sante!

Vineyard areas to be tasted and discussed within Bordeaux: Entre Deux Mers (white), Bordeaux (red) plus the left bank vineyards of Saint-Estephe, Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Margaux, Graves and right bank Saint-Emilion, and Pomerol (Lalande). Wine list available on request prior to the event.

Location: The Little Fine Wine Company, c/o Needspace, 9 Lydden Road, SW18 4LZ, London (this is 8-10 minute walk from Earlsfield station, we will send further details later in September regarding directions).

Time: 6.30-8.30pm (we will likely head to the pub close to Earlsfield station afterwards for those who are keen to mingle)
