Description
This fresh, lively red Malbec comes from 35-year-old vines on limestone and alluvial deposits from the Lot river in Cahors. The winemakers have used indigenous yeasts and gentle extraction to provide a elegant and crisp character. The wine has undergone 18 months in large oak vessels.
TASTING NOTE: This typical Malbec shows notes of plum, dried herbs and baking spices on the palate. It is medium-bodied with fresh acidity, a long finish with 13% alcohol.
