Description
This Chardonnay from the Clos Rochette vineyards, that neighbour La Framboisiere vineyards in the Mercurey region of Burgundy is filled with wine complex and fresh aromas of white flowers, ripe tropical fruit, and soft white pepper spice notes. The lively palate leads to a smooth, creamy, and almost slightly oily character due to its French oak ageing for 16 months with occasional lees stirring. Together the aromas and flavour create a rich but balanced style of Chardonnay that can be enjoyed now or cellared until Winter 2025. Pair this wine next to warm mushroom Vol au vents, white fish dishes, oysters, or fresh mussels. 13%ABV.
