Description
This is a dry, full-bodied but not heavy white from the Trimbach family in Alsace. This is a real character, with lychee and grape aromas alongside rose petal and a touch of ginger and other spices. If there is one producer to know from Alsace, it’s the Trimbach family. Making wine since the early 1600s, they are still a family business, with at least four members involved, including Pierre, who makes delicious wines that really give a good impression of the style of Alsace. Their Gewurztraminer is unique, a great food match, full-bodied, perfumed and with a hint of spice, it’s very hard to replicate! Pair this with aromatic Asian foods such as a Thai curry, a fragrant tagine, or strong cheeses. Trimbach recommend local cheese Munster. 14.5% ABV.
