Description
This Chardonnay from Yabby Lake Vineyards in the Mornington Peninsula of Victoria, Australia is a single vineyard expression showing great purity and character, a true reflection of the site and the season in which it was grown.
TASTING NOTE: bright golden colour. On the nose: intense aromas of grapefruit, citrus blossom, and lime, with lovely flinty mineral and creamy nutty notes from the barrel fermentation. On the palate: Medium in body with bright acidity and deep rich fruit flavours of apple, grapefruit, and white peach with some wet stone minerality and a long-lasting finish. 13% alcohol by volume.
FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: We would suggest trying this Chardonnay with poached halibut, fresh asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Or try with a fresh Pad Thai with a touch of spice. Enjoy now or keep until summer 2025.

Today the vineyards are overseen by Viticulturist, Thomas Schulz who meticulously manages the vineyards each season.
