CURRENT SELECTION: For the whites: Try one of our favourites, Drouhin’s Bourgogne Chardonnay. This is textbook white Burgundy, which is great for the table as it looks good and goes with a multitude of foods! Compare this with the refreshing, Sauvignon-led Bordeaux Blanc from Marc Lurton at Chateau Reynier. And for something different, there is the zesty, fresh Grillo, from Donnafugata in Sicily. For the reds: this time it’s a red Bordeaux, from Graves; this Chateau Gravieres is mellow, fruity and with the classic Bordeaux structure behind. It’s the perfect wine for a roast! Compare this with the flavourful Organic Bordeaux blend from South Africa, by Laibach. And for a twist, Austria’s Sankt Laurent grape, made into a delicious, black-fruited, peppery red by Weingut Fischer.
