Matthias Hager Gruner Veltliner Petnat 2022 HALF Bottle (37.5cl)

White, Kamptal, Austria

In stock

This semi-sparkling wine made from Gruner Veltliner has a lovely light gold colour in the glass with delicate bubbles. It will show a touch of cloudiness, as this wine is essentially bottled unfiltered in the Pet-Nat style. The nose has the classic Austrian Gruner Veltliner notes of white pepper, plus citrus and ripe apple fruit, along with hints of ginger. The palate is zesty and full with lots of apple fruit and a hint of fresh yeast/dough alongside tropical fruits like papaya, and tangerine. It’s dry, very crisp and full of character, a complete original! 11% ABV
