Description
This is a fruity Pinot Gris from the Alsace region of France produced by Domine Schlumberger. It’s a fruity, juicy white that makes a great aperitif and a brilliant food-friendly wine.
TASTING NOTE: delicate yellow colour. On the nose: Perfumed with pear, apple and jasmine. On the palate: Full-bodied, filled with apple, yellow plum and honeyed walnuts. It’s quite rich and has an almost viscous texture that gives the wine a full mouthfeel yet still fresh with great structure. 13.5% alcohol by volume.
FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: With a rich, almost viscous texture that matches pate, game, or spicy foods such as curries, especially those made with coconut or cream, when it really comes into its own! Enjoy now but can keep till summer 2026.
